The final destination was a tiny village located in the southern coast, called Carvoeiro. Carvoeiro isn't really a very different place. Tourists come from all around the world to enjoy the sun (and sunbathing) and chill for a few days or even a few weeks. Believe it or not, but due to the relatively short distance to the Spanish border, many nationals come here to enjoy summer too. And indeed, that one was my case.
The hotel where I stayed for approximately a week was on top of an enormous cliff, with access (though not easy) to a very tiny beach with caves included. The views from there weresomewhat exceptional and impressive, that's no doubt!
During my one-week trip I had the opportunity to visit one of the most wonderful places I've ever seen - the Cape Sao Vicente, the most southwestern point in Europe- and some of the most amazing old villages in the Iberian Pen. But as I think I'm talking too much, it's better to let you see the pictures with your own eyes... so here you are an appetizer! :)
